As the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Dentsu Aegis, DK Barkley plays a pivotal role in the direction of the company’s overall diversity strategy. At the start of this year, his team identified two main areas of focus – increasing female representation in leadership and hiring and promoting talent from underrepresented groups.

Determined to hit these goals, DK went to work to enlist the tools necessary for his recruiting team’s success. This evaluation process was no easy task – in DK’s words: “We are a best practices organization. In managing both D&I and coming from the talent acquisition space, I cannot introduce a tool that’s going to fail or that is going to be haphazard or that is not a proven tool.”

With Entelo, DK’s team has the ability to create candidate pools that help them track specific metrics around their diversity efforts – data that informs their candidate engagement and approach strategy. Although primarily leveraging Entelo to create an inclusive sourcing strategy, the Dentsu Aegis talent team reduced their time to fill by 20% simultaneously.

These immediate results more than validated DK’s choice to invest in Entelo. “Entelo has been proven to be best in class. And I think for us, it’s nice to be able to talk about the business, and the tools that support that business, with a tool that we can customize for our own professional needs."

Check out our video with DK Barkley to learn more about how Dentsu Aegis leverages Entelo to diversify their candidate pipeline and streamline their hiring process:
