My parents were both recruiters! I joined A.T. Kearney as a recruiting assistant out of undergrad.

If you had to pick one piece of advice to give to recruitment/talent acquisition professionals, what would it be?

Focus on relationship building—chatting with your colleagues and hiring managers should be viewed as part of the job, not a waste of time.

What inspires you about your work?

Watching my team succeed and get recognized for a job well done.

What is a professional goal you STRIVE to achieve?

Increasing the number of women and underrepresented minorities in consulting roles.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing recruitment?

Employers’ need for analytics and technology specialists has grown faster than the talent pool, making the “talent war” very real!
