A Connecticut staffing firm COO faces felony forgery charges after allegedly failing to pay $40,000 in overtime wages. Kathryn Clark Melanson, 52, works at New England Personnel of Hartford LLC , an employment agency in Rocky Hill that finds work for people in a wide range of fields. Melanson is a self-professed workaholic, according to her page on the employment agency’s website.

[Manpower Blogs]. 300 jobs will be available : Workforce Alliance, Palm Beach County’s employment agency, will be hiring for the jobs, mostly temporary, to install the turbines. [Sun Sentinel]. According to a recent survey by Robert Half , it takes approximately eight weeks for employers in the legal field to fill management-level legal positions and six weeks to fill staff-level roles.

NLRB Favors A Few Facebook Firings

Sugar Factory Union Workers Reject Contract, Get Ejected

At 6:15 a.m. Aug. 1, 120 union workers showed up at Moorhead, Minn.’s American Crystal Sugar factory to begin work. They were told to “beet it,&# and were replaced with temporary workers.
