One of the nice things about having an anonymous employee review site is the PR gold you can tap into pretty much whenever you want. It’s particularly advantageous if CEO reviews and rankings are part of your offering. Surprisingly, Glassdoor has been the only resource for best (and worst) CEOs for the past decade based on worker sentiment.

Thankfully, there’s a new kid in town looking to put CEOs on notice by collecting employee feedback. Launched last year, Comparably has released its top CEOs of the year. Similarly to Glassdoor’s list, top execs are broken down between big companies and small- to mid-sized organizations.

Some notable CEOs within the employment space include LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner at No. 4, Indeed’s Hisayuki Idekoba at No. 7, Cornerstone OnDemand‘s Adam Miller right behind him, Workfront’s Alex Shootman at No. 17, Workday‘s Aneel Bhusri at No. 18, and Slack’s Stewart Butterfield at No. 20 rounding out the big companies. Workpop‘s co-CEOs Chris Ovitz and Reed Shaffner rank No. 7, Entelo’s Jon Bischke comes in at No. 34, and BambooHR‘s Ben Peterson is No. 36 in the SMB category.

Here’s the entire list of Comparably’s Top CEOs for 2017:

Did your CEO make the list? If not, don’t fret. Comparably is still a startup with a fraction of the data Glassdoor enjoys as the current incumbent. The two lists are quite different as well. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, interestingly, is the only CEO to make both Top Ten lists.

Comparably’s “Best of” lists are derived from sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously rated their employers on the site during the 2017 eligibility period (Jan. 1, 2017– Nov. 17, 2017). There were no fees or costs associated with participating, nor was nomination required.
