Facebook Wants to Help You Land Top Talent

While social media has taken over many people’s personal lives, when it comes to using it to recruit top talent, very few employers (18%) have success recruiting from sites like Facebook or Twitter, according to a recent Recruiting Daily Advisor survey.

That could all change because Facebook will now be partnering with enterprise HR companies—such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workable, JazzHR, and more—these companies will “combine the ease and convenience of hiring tools with the expansive reach of Jobs on Facebook,” an announcement on Facebook’s corporate website says.
These partnerships will allow hiring managers and HR professionals the ability to easily create job postings and track applications directly through the site, as well as through current applicant tracking systems. Yes, you get to keep using the tools you’re accustomed too, but now you have more access to the expansive talent pool on Facebook.
Facebook also says that applications from jobseekers on Facebook will be sent directly to a partner’s tool for a seamless review experience, adding: “These partnerships are particularly beneficial for large businesses that often work with applicant tracking systems to post jobs and review candidates in one place.”
In addition to having more access to top talent, jobseekers will see your job postings in more locations on Facebook. For instance, your job posting will appear in the Jobs bookmark, Marketplace, News feed, your Business Page, through the search function, notifications, subscriptions, and the Jobs tab. With your job postings being housed in all these locations, you’ll be filling the void in no time!
