Diversity & Scalability Make Source2 a Top Place to Work Again in 2020

There’s no question 2020 was a challenging year, but through those challenges came some of the best opportunities for growth and innovation. Through the foresight of leadership and collective efforts of our team, Source2 was fortunate to experience exponential growth after an uncertain start to the year. This was fueled by the diligent work of our team, attention to our existing clients’ evolving needs, innovative thinking and technology, our scalability and flexibility, enhanced marketing efforts, and overall adherence to our Core Values.

These same notable initiatives and the invaluable feedback from our employees enabled us to recently earn the Orlando Sentinel’s award for Top Work Places 2020—our fifth consecutive year receiving this award. Each year the Orlando Sentinel seeks to identify top local companies not just by their business achievements, but arguably more importantly by what their employees say make them great places to work.

Questionnaires were collected from employees February through May, in this case during the initial spike of the pandemic, and we’re happy that our organization’s approach, communication, flexibility, and scalability during an incredibly stressful and uncertain time reflected positively on our employees and prevented us from layoffs or other disruption.

This same approach to flexibility and scalability enabled us to bring on new clients in the third quarter, and within only a few weeks effectively triple our headcount to meet the needs of those clients. During this process and after already converting to a remote work structure, we were also able to convert our office space to a CDC-compliant and socially distanced training facility with the ability to onboard our plentiful new employees and host our clients safely, while simultaneously scaling our team’s productivity levels with a flexible remote working environment.

Year in and year out, Source2 focuses on our employee culture and the solutions we provide to our clients, which is in no small part what has allowed our continued growth. At the heart of this growth and our Core Values, our commitment to hiring a diverse team and fostering an inclusive environment remains constant, and we bring this same commitment when recruiting for our clients. 

We go beyond external recruiting practices and work with our clients to implement their own holistic diversity and inclusion programs for their internal staff and workplace.
