How can recruiters benefit from using clay?

Using Clay on LinkedIn:

Tired of manually searching and copying data from LinkedIn into Clay, spreadsheets, or other tools? Streamline your process with the LinkedIn Source feature. Easily source individuals and companies on LinkedIn right within a Clay table.

Here’s how to set this up:

1. Go to the Sources button in your chosen table

2. Select LinkedIn from the source list

3. Set up your inputs, with only one input required for the source to function:

4. Set your limit: the default is 100 records with a cap of 250 (contact us for an increase)

5. Set one or more inputs: enter the title, location, experience, etc. you want to search for on LinkedIn. (Currently, you can only enter one option per input, e.g. one location, one title)

6. You’re ready to go! Create new tables with new sources, add more LinkedIn sources to existing tables, and more.

Google searches:

With Clay’s Google Source, you can easily extract targeted data from Google Search and add it to your Clay Table for further enrichment. Access the Google Search source through the Import Data tab and input your search queries, ranging from simple to advanced.

After conducting a Google search for your desired data, map the results to your Clay table and utilize the platform’s over 50 integrations and enrichments to obtain all the information you need. Start your data-driven prospecting now. You can even use this tool for xray searches.

Xray SITE searches on google:

Use this template to automatically enrich a search using Google to find perfect fit prospects or candidates using an X-Ray Search. Start with a google search looking for profiles that fit your search criteria and enrich for relevant information including their education, time in position, past experience and more!

Chatgpt integration for candidate outreach:

Are you looking to improve your ChatGPT outreach automation and personalization? Spreadsheets can be a valuable resource. Talent.sourcer.sandy created this tip for recruiters on her Instagram feed below.

Clay transforms spreadsheets into automated workflows. With Clay, you can directly source data from spreadsheets and scrape data from web pages, and even integrate with ChatGPT.

Use clay and chatgpt to automate outreach templates:

use a pre-made recipe in Clay to scrape recent LinkedIn posts from sourced candidates. Then, utilize ChatGPT to summarize the post in a concise manner and generate an outreach based on the summary. Finally, upload the CSV into your campaign management tool. Keep an eye out for the upcoming Sourcewhale integration!

Step 1: Use this recipe: Scrape recent posts on LinkedIn from a list of sourced candidates. Once populated the posts will show up in a new column.

Step 2: Add a new column for chatgpt integration to summarize the post in a limited amount of words.

Step 3: In the next column, ask chatgpt to generate an outreach message using that post summary.

Step 4: You can then upload the csv into a campaigning tool using the personalized snippet summaries.

Clay templates to review further:

1. Perform and Enrich an X-Ray Search

2. Pull in lists of thousands of LinkedIn leads directly into your table

3. Enrich any LinkedIn URL to find name, role, company, email, and more

4. Find key decision makers at any company with just a website URL

5. Pull in your Twitter followers and filter for profiles with founder in bio

6. Find number of open roles and employees from a company URL
