According to a survey of over half a million sales emails sent in Q1 2014, Yesware (an email productivity service) found that if an email is ever going to be opened by it’s intended recipient, 91% of the time it’s opened within 24 hours after it’s been sent. But after 24 hours have passed, the likelihood of an email being opened falls dramatically to just 1.7% and decreases further every day thereafter.
