American Airlines has appointed Krystal McCoy as Director, Technical Operations Recruiting. Hanold Associates’ Lisa Yae, Maisha Pearson and Meg McElroy led the Fort Worth, Texas-based search.
As Director, Technical Operations Recruiting, Krystal will oversee all recruitment efforts within the Technical Operations division, including hiring for aircraft maintenance professionals, engineers and other maintenance related positions. Krystal will focus on developing and implementing effective talent strategies in order to attract and retain top-notch employees. In this role, Krystal will report to Managing Director, Aviation Recruiting, Christina Flores. Prior to joining American Airlines, Krystal served as Manager, Talent Acquisition, Flight Ops & Technical Operations Hiring at JetBlue Airways.
Currently, American Airlines offers an average of nearly 6,700 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in more than 50 countries. The airline also operates 10 hubs around the United States and currently employs over 120,000 team members around the globe. The company’s corporate headquarters campus, located at the heart of its route network in Fort Worth, Texas, is more than 1.4 million square feet in size. American Airlines had $49 billion in revenue in 2022 and is traded as AAL on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange through its parent company, American Airlines Group.
