BLR RPOA Influential Women in Talent Acquisition

Broadleaf’s Lynne Marie Finn and Suzie Mitchell Recognized as Influential Women in Talent Acquisition

Lynne Marie Finn, President and CEO of Broadleaf Results, and Suzie Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Client Delivery, have been recognized by the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) as Influential Women in Talent Acquisition.

“As a woman-owned business, Broadleaf is grateful for RPOA’s continued recognition of women who are leading the talent acquisition industry,” said Finn. “Women play a crucial role in making our workplaces more diverse, inclusive, innovative, and effective.”

Finn has been a longtime advocate of advancing women in business and has weighed in on important issues impacting women in the workforce, including pay transparency and pay equity.

Finn has served on the board of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), where she has been honored as a Business Star and Woman of Distinction, as well as the boards of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of New York (WBEC-NY) and the Committee of 200 (C200), an invitation-only international women’s business organization. She has also been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) as a Staffing 100 recipient and a Global Power 150 Women in Staffing. Locally, she serves on the Boards of the Burchfield Penney Art Center and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

“It’s so important that we continue to support and mentor women working in talent acquisition and celebrate their successes in the workplace,” added Mitchell. “Empowering women in our industry isn’t just about gender equality; it’s about leveraging diverse perspectives to make our organizations better and stronger.”

With 25 years of industry experience, Suzie has been instrumental in bolstering Broadleaf’s industry leading RPO and MSP offerings for customers of all types and sizes across North America. In her current role with Broadleaf, she develops and manages the Client Delivery Team to ensure a positive client experience and drives key initiatives within the organization. She is also part of RPOA’s RPO Delivery Forum.

According to the 2023 Women Business Collaborative Benchmark Survey on Gender Equity in the Staffing Industry, women comprised a median of 66 percent of staffing firm internal staff, on par with 2022. However, they represented just half of executive positions and 33 percent of board seats, the latter representing a 3 percent year-over-year decrease.

Each year during Women’s History Month, RPOA’s Women in Talent Acquisition Awards recognizes women in the industry who are making a positive impact in their organizations, their teams, and in support of their clients.
