New Product Updates from Glassdoor: What You Need to Know

Let’s face it, hiring isn’t getting any easier. One of the biggest challenges is making sure you can personalize your employer brand to candidates in meaningful ways--but the solution to that typically isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. More and more, employers come to us asking how to personalize their messages to different types of candidates in different markets. Now, we’re excited to announce a few product updates that will help companies personalize messages to help hire top talent.

Dynamic Profiles with Audience Targeting

This responsive feature allows companies to showcase different elements of their brands to different occupations. Now, when candidates in particular roles visit a customer’s Glassdoor Enhanced Profile, they will be presented with information relevant to their job. For example, when an engineer visits DocuSign on Glassdoor, that individual will now see information about what makes the company attractive for engineers. Audience targeting can be customized for jobs across more than 20 different industries (e.g. engineering, sales, marketing, finance, etc.) and employer can select up to four job categories to target at one time. This feature is available as part of Glassdoor’s Select Package, and more than 100 employers are already using it to give candidates a more personalized experience.

Jobs & Company Spotlights

Glassdoor is also introducing two new display advertising opportunities that help employers get their brands and open jobs in front of candidates that may not be familiar with them. The display advertising products, Job Spotlight and Company Spotlight, allow companies to precisely target talent and promote their brands on and off their profiles on Glassdoor, across both on mobile and desktop.

Improved Profiles & Analytics for Multinational Employers

Glassdoor is also adding more detailed reputation and awareness analytics for multinational employers leveraging localized Enhanced Profiles. This update offers more detailed reputation and awareness analytics for multinational employers as it allows them to see per market data, and create more profile options. The new analytics give employers insights into per market employee sentiment, ratings by job title, competitor comparisons, candidate demographics and job candidate activity all from within their personal Glassdoor Employer Centers. Also, with more profile options, multinational employers can better customize their employer brand messages to candidates throughout the world. These improvements help employers to take full advantage of the traffic coming to Glassdoor and better understand what is working and what’s not when it comes to their brand and reputation among employees and candidates across the globe.

Glassdoor now welcomes 4,700 employer customers, including 39 percent of the Fortune 500*. Of course, each of these companies has slightly different recruiting needs and goals. With these new employer branding and recruiting solutions, employers can customize those solutions based on their recruiting needs and budget. As part of this shift, profile packages are now available in three different options including Starter, Standard and Select.
