Small employers, seasonal businesses , and agricultural employers have lower minimum wage rates, while long-term care facilities must pay their staff a higher rate. Employers with seasonal and small (less than six employees) businesses won’t need to hit the $15+ threshold until 2026, while agricultural businesses have until 2027.
