Just the other day, I was lying on my couch and generally ignoring the world. The Coronavirus forced me to quarantine in my home, but I counted it all joy because I had my DVR and a Netflix account to keep me company. My plan was pretty much set: eat, sleep and repeat as necessary. Eventually, I caught up on all the Netflix Marvel shows, Dr. Who episodes and classic Bruce Lee films that I planned on watching since I picked them up in a garage sale.

Hiring Plans Improve Globally for Q4

Manpower Group has released the findings of its quarterly Employment Outlook Survey. Employers in 43 countries took part in this survey. In half of those countries, payroll gains are anticipated for the upcoming quarter. Compared to the previous quarter, hiring plans improve in 37 of the 43 countries. However, these plans are weaker in nearly every country (41 of 43) on a year-over-year basis.
