Slashdot has an exchange or rather a pissing contest going on about the merits of an innovative technical staffing service that promotes itself as "the way software gets done". I suspect a better tagline or at least a more appropriate one would be "the way arguments start". At the end of the day, a staffing company connects resources with users of those resources.

Sometimes I think recruiters listen to too much of the band,Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP), and their hit song 'Give It Away' because they (the recuiters) are constantly dumping their candy in the lobby, opening their kimono, and giving away their candidates, their crown jewels. Propaganda ran thick about equal access to healthcare when I lived in the Soviet Union in 1979. The reality of course was that it wasn't equal at all. If you had a lot of money to bribe your doctor, you got medicine. If you didn't you, well you just suffered. But it looks like the commies are catching up. they have exactly the kind of healthcare I need for me and my family
